We have various expert buyers exclusively placed for us in markets in Rungis, Barcelona, Milan, and more.
As with all systems in place at First Choice Produce, the role of purchasing is not solely in the hands of one person but worked on a rolling basis to allow produce to reach us around the clock.
Pietro de Paoli (above) is our Italian buyer who knows all there is to know about Italian produce and is a regular face at various markets across Italy.
Ron Maxfield (left) is in charge of purchases from Rungis and sourcing any new products, ranging from eggs to yoghurt, chestnuts to squash.
